Job Description

Parsons' Unconventional Access is looking for an amazingly talented, fully cleared (TS/SCI) Embedded Linux Developer to join our team! This immediate opening is positioned in some of the most sought-after work in this development and engineering community.

In this role you will work to develop embedded Linux software as a part of a multidisciplinary engineering team building custom hardware and software products.

Develop embedded softwareDevelop software drivers and applicationsProcess digital signalsDevelop Client/server applicationsAnalyze and implement Legacy and current processor technologyAnalyze and implement Operating systems, architectures, and interfacesDevelop code using Assembly and high-level programming languagesReverse engineer software/codeParticipate in and moderate peer review software

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with PolygraphA minimum of five (5) years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test to include writing clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code, and a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or a related field.A Master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.Four (4) years of additional experience in software and firmware design, development, and test may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.Programming experience for embedded Linux both user-space and kernel-mode software in C

Desired Qualifications

Low-level development experience – e.g. interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, reading/writing Flash memory, etc.Development experience with Linux on ARM-based platformsUSB protocol and driver experienceUnderstanding of GNU MakePython experienceAutomated testing, unit test levelExperience with automake/autoconf suiteExperience supporting patches for software development projectsExperience with the creation of Linux packages e.g. OpenWRT/LEDE or RPM package for Fedora/Red Hat

Salary Range

$140,700.00 - $253,300.00
