RESPONSIBILITIES:Address and resolve employee relations issuesDrive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employeesWork closely with clientele and other staff members to design and implement HR strategies to increase awareness of the employee value proposition and support greater employee engagementConduct market-competitiveness reviews and make recommendations for new or revised benefit plansAdvise and consult on individual benefit questions and issues with all employees both locally and nationwideManage a portfolio of moderate to complex projects and change initiativesDevelop and integrate plans that include project deliveries, strategic alignment, cost management, enterprise-wide impacts, milestones, and risksCollaborate cross-functionally with others in management, HR Business partners, suppliers, vendors, and other teams to ensure successful execution and teamworkEnsure all project workstreams are working together toward achieving goals and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess a minimum of a Bachelorβs Degree in Human Resources (or related field) and 5 yearsβ experienceIn-depth knowledge of employment law and HR practices with solid track record in managing/advising on complex/sensitive issues considering the impact of new legislation and devising new HR policies and proceduresMust display a high level of professionalism, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust possess strong knowledge of compliance laws, right to work, visaβs, work authorizations and overall identification verificationPossess a strong level of confidentiality Be an innovative and creative thinker, that has previously been responsible for implementing ideas, changes, new plans, improvements, etc.Must have worked previously for a large corporationHave experience working with both direct hires and contingent workersStrong knowledge of diversity and inclusionPartner with internal groups on cross-functional projects, and sync practice across teams to maximize efficiencyInvite and promote constructive and ongoing feedbackKnowledge of safety requirements and trainingKnowledge of production/manufacturing landscapeHave a collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and think creatively about solutions
