The Role

The Director of Foodservice, West, manages the sales team on the West and directs the day-to-day activities of all sales personnel. They will continually evaluate the company’s market share position and implement policies and procedures necessary to improve PATH’s competitive market position.

The ideal candidate should possess an existing network and a track record of managing successful partnerships within both important channels. They are responsible for the planning and execution of sales strategies that maximize sales volume and margin growth for the West Coast.

The Director of Foodservice, West, reports to both the Sr. Director of Foodservice. They will lead a dedicated sales team.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 + bonus

Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Foodservice Sales, West, achieving if not exceeding sales goals. Growing existing accounts and expanding market penetration for Foodservice. Providing leadership, direction, training, management, and sales and marketing support to the sales team. Developing deep relationships with PATH customers to continue to grow. Bringing market knowledge to the company to continue to expand sales operations. Working closely with the Finance & Accounting and other departments to create budgets and forecasts.Digging deep into the data the company owns and determining best actions to improve sales. Providing sales perspective on competitive situations, market conditions, customer viewpoint and trade related issues. Collaborating with the Sr. Director of Foodservice & COO on the annual sales plan and budget; supporting tactical planning and sales planning efforts as related to the strategic growth plans and objectives of the Foodservice sales channels. Providing update reports which includes monthly business and project status updates sales activity and volume reports, forecasts, and pricing analysis reports. Analyzing changes in market dynamics and using rich company data to adapt strategies as necessary to achieve increased sales volume and margin growth.

Qualifications

5+ Years of experience in beverage sales preferred.Experience working with DSD and broadline distribution channels. Enthusiastic and comfortable working in an early stage company. Ability to think rapidly in a growing and changing environment.Strong organization skills and attention to detail, however not to the point of being inflexible.The ability to produce accurate work quickly & efficiently, and with excellent follow-up communication. Agile in determining and managing priorities, and adaptable in a fluid and fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication. Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace preferred.Experience managing a team of direct reports.
