Job Summary

Perform effective, safe and efficient driving duties. Deliver packages to customers on scheduled route while meeting service and performance objectives.

Essential Functions

Transact all business in accordance to Patterson Companies’ business code of conduct and business ethicsDrive assigned vehicle and deliver/pick up shipmentsPoint of contact for customer service and help resolve customer complaintsLoad and unload assigned vehicle. Ensure all loads are properly secure for transport.Operate all warehouse equipment/machineryAchieve assigned performance metrics and KPIsHelp maintain a secure, organized, clean, and safe warehouse and vehicleHandle all hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to the Company’s processes/procedures and applicable laws and regulationsAssure routine maintenance is performed on assigned vehicle per schedule and vehicle is always in a good and safe conditionFollow all local, state and federal motor carrier lawsSubmit all required daily, weekly and monthly compliance reportsAssist fulfillment center in daily operations when not delivering packages

Additional Functions

In addition to the essential functions listed below, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions.

Perform all work in accordance with Company Safety guidelines and procedures including all required Safety and Compliance Training and regulatory licensingMaintain acceptable driving record and current driver’s licensePerform other duties as assigned by management

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Non-CDL, Non-Hazmat, driving vehicles or combination vehicles up to 26k GVWRHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust have a valid driver’s licenseObtain a satisfactory MVR reviewAbility to drive assigned vehicleKnowledge of delivery area and ability to read mapsAble to work as an effective team memberBasic problem solving/troubleshooting skillsEffective time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

One-year experience as a delivery driver preferred

Lift and carry up to 55 pounds, team lift 56 to 100 pounds: continuous, moderate or occasional heavy physical activity

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.
