📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Security Service Technician 3 to join our integration business unit.
Accountable for the successful completion of service requests to include:Quality of WorkTimely results Customer satisfaction (project closeout)Experience installing and troubleshooting various security, fire and access control systems:AvigilonLenel/S2CCure 9000Software HouseNotifier (fire)Honeywell / BoschNapcoGenetecMust be able to pull, dress, label, terminate and test various types of category cableTroubleshoot complex systems, identify problems, make effort to find solution on own, request assistance if necessaryRespond to telephone calls, email, and internal staff requests for technical support to include documentation, tracking, and monitoring of the request to ensure a timely resolutionIdentify, prioritize and escalate support tickets requiring urgent attentionDiagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issuesFollow up on reassigned unresolved requestsResearch questions using available information resources
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED3-5 Years of Experience working in similar technical role
Preferred Qualifications
Associates degreeIndustry certification(s)Basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication, strong sense of customer serviceExperience using standard electrical test equipment or specialty test equipment used with network systems, AV equipment, Healthcare systems, or Security equipment
