Job Description:This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established independent Investment Manager with an entrepreneurial and team-oriented culture. The role requires the compliance personnel to work independently, respond to requests and meet deadlines associated with working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:Perform pre-trade and post-trade compliance reviews to ensure compliance with account, firm, and regulatory guidelinesDraft policy and manage testingPerform regular and ad-hoc reviews to identify and resolve client guideline, regulatory, and internal policy violationsInterpreting guidelines and working with the IT Department to build custom rulesAddress and resolve inquiries regarding compliance issues from employees and clientsComplete other departmental duties as assigned

Qualifications:Three to five years of relevant experience at a registered investment adviser/investment management firmA fundamental understanding of the inner workings of pre-trade compliance functionalityAbility to read and interpret governing compliance documents such as Guidelines, IMAs, and Prospectus/SAIAbility to work with minimal supervision to accomplish objectives and prioritiesDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask and excellent organizational and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Excel and strong data analysis skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and foster strong culture of complianceBachelor’s degree required
