PDS Tech is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer in Everett, WA for an Aerospace Company:

About the Role:Work schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 7 AM and 6 PM (8 hours/day).Education required: Bachelor's in engineering with 5-7 years in product design. Equivalent experience acceptable.Must-have experience: Commercial aircraft interior design, proficient in 3D modeling and drafting (NX, Catia, SolidWorks, or similar), able to interpret 2D drawings, familiar with GD&T, and skilled in tolerance analysis.Preferred: Experience with Airbus single-aisle programs.
A successful candidate will be the engineering representative and participate as a team member within an aircraft lavatory Integrated Project Team. The individual will be responsible for the engineering details of new product development, and/or sustaining activities that include top level assembly creation in NX, supporting workflows in Teamcenter, publishing parts lists, peer review of models ensuring customer requirements are met, ensure new designs meet cost, weight, and performance targets, and the troubleshooting of issues related to field data, manufacturing pickups, and engineering errors.
Additional Requirements:U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required.This position is entirely on-site.Possibility of converting to permanent based on performance and project acquisition.Overtime is voluntary.
