📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Chatsworth Road pharmacy in Chesterfield.
The hours of this position will be 17 hours per week, Tuesday & Wednesday, 9am to 6pm (with an hour for lunch) and 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am to 1pm
The Role Will Include
Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist managerEnsure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely mannerRespond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
The Ideal Candidate Will
Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy ServicesHave previous community pharmacy or retail experienceBe willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessaryBe able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team
We are looking for a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, highly organised and be passionate about helping people.
There will be the opportunity to take part in our excellent training and development programme, so that you are confident in providing expert advice on our medicines, professional services and general healthcare.
