📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We’re seeking a Property Accountant for a direct-hire role. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations for commercial real estate properties. This role involves managing the financial aspects from start to finish and working directly with property managers, providing full-cycle accounting support.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the end-to-end accounting operations for commercial real estate properties.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for each property.Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.Maintain and manage the general ledger efficiently.Conduct thorough accounting analysis to support decision-making processes.Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.Reconcile real estate tax payments and ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor and manage daily cash balances to support financial stability.Assist in the preparation of budgets to align with organizational goals.Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports to provide insights into financial performance.
Requirements2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.Proficient understanding of property accounting principles and practices.
