Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Senior Cloud Engineer will manage, implement, maintain and support the Enterprise level Cloud based systems and development activities. Would coordinate and collaborate with the different Cloud based projects across the organization.
Qualified candidates for this role will have at least 7-10 years of experience designing and implementing Cloud based solutions to organizations with at least 3-5 years of experience leading and managing those projects. Azure Cloud Certifications preferred.
Location: Beachwood OH, or possibly Remote for the right Candidate.
Major Responsibilities
Excellent working knowledge and experience on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).Experience working in an agile environmentExcellent planning, design, management, maintenance and support of cloud computing systems and applications.Good technical leadership, engineering and problem-solving skills and thorough proficiency on all the phases of Software Development.Enable well-structured and systematic best practices in all aspects of Software Engineering on Azure Cloud.Implement efficient engineering and best operational processes and procedures to continuously improve them for operational efficiency within and across teams.Plan and coordinate reviews and approval of technical deliverables and handle business use-cases and requirements effectively and efficiently.Maintain, monitor, repair and recover from software and process failures and engage different teams as necessary.Ensure the availability of Azure Cloud Services and Systems across environments.Communicate fluently and seamlessly with business stakeholders, product managers, leadership teams, developers and cloud admins.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent years of software development experience 7-10 years of experience designing and implementing Cloud based solutions to organizations 3-5 years of experience leading and managing those projects. Must have experience with Kubernetes Azure Cloud Certifications preferred. Excellent working knowledge and experience on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and Kusto Query Language (KQL). Experience working in an agile environment Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
