Join us as a Maintenance Technician in our Simi Valley, CA facility.

You will… be responsible for assuring the maintenance and repair of Facilities Equipment.

What’s in it for you?

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $23.00 - $30.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. 11 paid holidays each year 2 weeks of paid vacation to start (accrued weekly), and prorated based on hire date Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Up to 5% 401K match starting day one of employment Tuition reimbursement to support your education goals

More Details About The Opportunity

Ability to Run Wire gauges and Install hangers for conduit and pipe runs.Make connections into breaker panels and install cord gropsInstall circuit breakers and 120 and 277 VAC lightingExperience using circuit breakersInstall different types and sizes of PVC pipePerform installation & repair of facilities plumbing and fixturesOperate manual powered toolsBasic farming and drywall experienceRemove existing electrical, air and water linesOperate heavy machinery such as forklifts, cherry pickers, scissor liftExperience in painting using water and oil based paintsExperience with HVACInstall thermal barrier insulation

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Requires two-years trade or specialty school training and the equivalent if at least 3+ year’s hands on experience.Requires excellent fine hand manipulation abilities and/or substantial experience and knowledge of repair tools.Requires significant previous exposures and/or experience with process in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or equivalent job experiencesPossess a valid driver’s license.

Language Skills

Able to communicate effectively in the English language, Spanish is a plus.

Position Hours/shifts

1st Shift - Ability to work overtime as needed for maintenance functions.
