Responsibilities

What you'll do

This Production Supervisor position contributes to the success of PepsiCo by directing the manufacturing front line team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. You will align the team to achieve production performance standards.

Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities

Develops and leads a cross functional/departmental team to take on day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDelivers effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impactMotivates team members to achieve plan goals by having a regular presence on the plant floorApplies knowledge of TPM processes, equipment and system capability for individual and facility standards.Sets and achieves performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and qualityTracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targetsOversees and ensures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtimeBuilds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnelEnsures compliance with all health & safety regulationsAdminister policies and proceduresThis role may operate manufacturing equipment occasionallyThis role requires you to work off-shift and weekend work

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,000 - $100,500 based on a full-time schedule.Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field. Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills - Proven front-line supervisory skills and ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-makingA minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience preferredLean Six Sigma Experience preferred, validated by your successful completion of a major improvement project.Demonstrated planning and organization skillsAbility to give and receive constructive feedbackAbility to work in a results-oriented, challenging environmentThis position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United StatesMust have a valid driver’s licenseSafe driving record strongly preferred
