What You'll Be Doing:Developing and maintaining server-side logic using Core PHP scripting language.Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Writing clean, efficient, and secure PHP code following coding standards and best practices.Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing PHP code base, ensuring smooth operation of web applications.Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to project requirements.Developing and optimizing SQL stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.Documenting technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines for reference and knowledge sharing.Collaborating with Statistical Consultants, Data Analysts, Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
What You'll Bring to the Table:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in developing dynamic web applications using Core PHP.Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data manipulation and analysis.Knowledge of version control systems such as Bitbucket.Familiarity with other front-end technologies such as jQuery, CSS, and IIS are a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
