Responsibility and Authority

Responsible for the organization of all Production including the Shipping and Receiving TeamParticularly, the Production Manager is responsible for:Supervising the whole production processes of the company, assuring the correct performance of the production and the punctual dispatching of customer ordersDemonstrate proven ability to lead and grow the production teamInform promptly about the need of maintenance or about possible inefficiencies of the operation.Arrange production plans and/or budgets, as well as to help for the planning of the production requirements.Oversee the correct training programs for operations supervisors and operatorsUse all the available tools to assure, at every production stage, the conformity of the product to the fixed specifications, and to inform promptly the Laboratory Manager, the Quality Manager and the Technical Manager about any abnormalities.Collaborate with the other company functions for the achievement of an optimal management of resources.Accomplishes operations human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies.Establishes operational strategies by evaluating manufacturing trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing manufacturing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.Develops operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating manufacturing requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
