Phaedon has an exciting HR Business Partner career opportunity. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will work with business leaders to execute HR programs and initiatives focused on talent management, diversity, and inclusion, learning and development, total rewards, culture, and employee engagement. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into meaningful initiatives for impact.

To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across teams, levels, and situations. You must also be comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in a fast-paced environment. Key job responsibilities Serve as the primary contact to Phaedon employees and managersPartner with business leaders to drive results, improve organizational effectiveness and performance management, facilitate effective change efforts and employee engagement.Partner with the business to lead companywide HR initiatives and establish and implement effective human capital strategies.Help transform business strategies and objectives into individual performance goals Support people manager development by serving as a coach in support of various HR programs and initiatives. Work with managers to enable them to develop their employees and advance their careers. Assess voluntary attrition levels, identify areas of opportunity and potential root causes, create action plans to address, and lead implementation.Identify opportunities to improve leadership and management practices.Lead employee relations matters - collaborate with the business and other HR staff as appropriate to develop resolution strategies when specific ER issues arise.Develop and deliver HR related content in the form of resources, help tools, training, etc. to support the evolving needs of the organization. Maintain knowledge of legal/regulatory federal and state requirements and ensure fair and consistent daily management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for employees.Understand, integrate, and provide counsel to the business on HR priorities; ensure HR programs are effectively communicated, implemented, and utilized Model personal integrity, drive the importance of ethics and compliance throughout the business, and address related issues in a timely and effective manner. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience. 5+ years of demonstrated success in partnering with managers in areas of talent management, addressing organizational and employee development issues, and resolving complex employee relations issues. Demonstrated success in working tactically and strategically with a complex, multi-location organization and leadershipDemonstrated knowledge of effective HR practices and disciplines, including talent management, performance management, employee/career development, diversity, and inclusion in a broad-based HR generalist role. Solid experience in HR project management, program implementation and training delivery. Proven ability to successfully support, coach, and influence internal clients with varying geographic locations. Comfortable with HRIS systems and ability to comfortably navigate and update dataProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational/company procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for our clients Additional Information: This role will report to Phaedon’s Chief People Officer. The role will be based out of Phaedon’s Minneapolis office, with some opportunity for remote work. Occasional travel may be required.
