Salary is 180k to 215k + bonus
Hybrid position
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Azure Cloud Data Architect with Database Engineering and Data Warehousing/Data Modeling/Data Architecture and strong Financial Services knowledge. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SQL Server database Engineering and possess 10 to 20 years of relevant experience in the field. As a Database Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our databases, ensuring optimal data organization, performance, and integrity.
Responsibilities:1. Experience in Azure services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.2. Hands-on development experience in Pyspark/Python.3. Data Warehousing: Possess good experience in Data Warehousing, including designing and building data warehouses to facilitate effective data reporting and analysis.4. Data Modeling: Participate in data modeling activities to design and optimize database structures, ensuring data is appropriately structured for efficient retrieval and storage.5. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into the required format, and load it into the databases.6. Data pipelines to streamline data ingestion, processing,7. Financial Services Industry Experience: Prior experience in the Financial Services industry is required.8.Utilize Python to develop Data Pipelines.
Plusses:1. Front Office Experience: Familiarity with Front Office operations and data requirements is a plus, as it will enable the candidate to better align database development with business needs.
