This team is responsible for providing rapid solutions to our Ultrasound customers. You will work with a great group of Philips Technical Team members in a cohesive and productive environment. Our team enjoys helping each other resolve issues for our customers and taking on projects to better our team.

Your role

You will combine your technical, networking, and customer interaction skills utilizing the latest remote access technologies to assist healthcare customers with Philips Ultrasound products.

Acting as a Remote Service Engineer (RSE), the aim of your job is to provide telephone, remote technical support, and provide remote diagnostics to external healthcare customers and field partners utilizing the latest remote access technologies. You will be responsible for:Acting as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries and providing telephone and remote technical support to external customersResolving customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources as neededTimely escalation of customer product issues for evaluation and action by higher level supportUtilization of appropriate remote tools to resolve issues and thus avoid dispatching of service call to Field Service EngineerImplementing best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, apply effective solutions and determine follow up actionsDriving increased productivity through utilization of remote tools and technical skills

2 year/ Associates Degree or equivalent is required; 4 year technical degree preferred5 years strong Ultrasound experience on Philips systemsComputer networking experience is preferredEffective communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot and think logically about solutionsStrong interpersonal skills with teams and customersPrioritization and time managementTechnical solutions authoringAbility to solve mechanical and electrical problems using appropriate toolsAbility to utilize MS office and other CRM products and applicationsAbility to type 30 words per minuteAbility to demonstrate versatility with a variety of Philips products and customersTravel will be determined according to business requirements

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $35.34 to $60.58, hourly. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
