As our Assistant General Manager, you will be helping to guide a multimillion-dollar real estate asset to high occupancy rates and operational success through customer satisfaction, leadership, goal setting/management, and community connection.
What You’ll Do (Including but not limited to)Facility Management: You will work with leasing, maintenance and corporate team members to ensure the community is well kept and holding value. This includes property inspections, project management, vendor management, and more.Leadership Meetings: You will regularly connect with your fellow supervisors and corporate team members to ensure the property is running smoothly.Direct the Team: You will help direct the leasing team, setting expectations for the day, week, month, or year. This includes detailed sales goals, providing clarity on what items to prioritize, or reminders for any upcoming events or projects.Hospitality: Ensure that hospitality and customer service are the top priority by greeting residents who come into our office and assisting with calls. You will follow up with residents and guarantors who have requested to speak with you. Respond to incidents that may have occurred. Schedule any necessary meetings.Finance Management: With access to our full suite of software systems and resources, you will oversee various financial aspects of the property. This includes delinquency management, rent collection, purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor payments.Events/Campus/Marketing: In the world of Student Housing Management, ‘routine’ is a word we don’t encounter often. Maybe you’re game planning our next resident event with your team. Or stopping by campus to connect with university officials. Our community shares a customer base with some cool local businesses. Experience You BringStrong customer service skills with experience in customer-facing roles.Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.Bachelor's degree in business, administration, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.Background in management preferred.Enthusiasm for the local community, property, company, and sales goals.Working knowledge of software platforms such as Slack, Asana, Google Suite, and more.

Compensation & Benefits PackageThe base salary range for this position is between $40,000-$45,000. This amount is supplemented by an annual bonus, biweekly milestone bonuses, and biweekly commission payouts. Combined, these bonuses can add up to an additional $10,000+ annually. Additional benefits such as employer-sponsored health insurance and rental discounts can take the total compensation package for this position over $80,000.
