Position Overview
The Senior Finance Specialist will be integral in steering the company’s financial strategy, overseeing financial reporting, year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of the financial mechanisms that drive a successful manufacturing enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.Manage the year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.Oversee tax planning and compliance, staying abreast of changes in tax regulations and ensuring the company adheres to all applicable laws.Collaborate with external auditors and advisors to ensure proper compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial audits.Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and cost reduction.Enhance financial policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring the integrity of financial data and efficient financial operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent is preferred.Extensive experience in financial management, including expertise in year-end closing, financial reporting, and tax regulations.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
