As a Staff Accountant, you will have a focus on technical accounting, as well as involvement in accounting transactions spanning both revenue and general ledger, with opportunities to work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the business. Candidates for this position are self-motivated, hungry to learn, and not afraid of a challenge. You will report to the Accounting Supervisor.

You will

Participate in the upfront deal review process to assess quotes for accuracy and accounting implications prior to execution by customerConduct research on accounting transactions and prepare written accounting memos for review by management and external auditorsCollaborate with the Product, Finance, Legal, and Sales teams on product readiness initiatives to ensure appropriate accounting treatmentAssist with special projects impacting the broader accounting organizationStay up to date with emerging accounting pronouncements and industry trends, assessing their impact on the organizationParticipate in the month-end close process, including processing multi-element customer contracts, preparing monthly journal entries, and account reconciliations

You have

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience 0-2 years of accounting experienceKnowledge of accounting principles and standardsEffective time management and prioritization skills, including project management to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner

You have an advantage if
