The PRN PACU RN position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.We are seeking a PRN PACU RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility of New York in Manhattan, NY. This is a PRN, as needed position, working generally 4 hours shifts from 8:00am-12:00pm dependent on Anesthesia needs.RESPONSIBILITES: Attend to patients as they emerge from anesthesia, monitoring their vital signs, level of consciousness, and overall condition.Conduct thorough assessments to ensure patients are recovering safely, identifying any signs of complications, and intervening as necessary.Administer medications as prescribed to manage pain and discomfort, ensuring patients' comfort during the recovery process.Educate patients and their families about post-procedure care instructions, potential side effects, and signs of complications, providing support and reassurance as needed.Work closely with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care and address patients' needs effectively.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patients' assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory standards to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections and promote patient safety.Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and optimizing the efficiency of PACU operations within the fertility clinic.Be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies or complications that may arise during the post-anesthesia recovery period.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Active RN License in state of NYC2 years minimum of PACU/pre op/post op experience ACLS certification required BLS certification required.IV Skills requiredCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS$48.00 - $65.55 hourlyThe compensation range for this position is between $48.00 and $65.55 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
