Job Description: Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear, concise, understandable terms
Proficient knowledge and understanding in the following key areas:Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)Design (compliance, security)Network Engineering (planning, provision)Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technologyExecutes against understanding of best practices and client policiesRoles and Responsibilities:This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceHands on Software development with Python, Java, C, C++, Go, JCL, REXX, PERL, PHP, JYTHON, zOSMF Workflows, J2EE, MVC, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, HTML, JQuery, AngularJS, JSON and XMLAdvanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, database, unix/linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, large scale software development, security software developmentUnderstanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophiesStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communicationAbility to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goalsStrong knowledge of zOSConnect (aka zOSC or zCEE) on the mainframe. Build, configure and trouble shoot issues.Proficient across WebSphere (WAS) Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Design (compliance, security) and Connectivity (planning, securing)Strong knowledge of server side design patterns and continuous delivery principlesAbility to articulate and share clear, concise complex technical findings to management in understandable terms
