📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Network Engineer to join their team in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for administering and maintaining network infrastructure for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Build and configure complex enterprise networks utilizing Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Zero Trust, and Cisco switches and routersDesign and deploy VPN technologiesWork with other teams to ensure network and security solutions are integrated with business requirementsAnalyze traffic to detect and troubleshoot network related problemsProvide Tier II/III level support in troubleshooting network-related hardware and softwareDevelop and implement network security policies to ensure compliance with industry standardsEvaluate and recommend new technologies and products REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree7+ years of experience designing and managing complex enterprise networksStrong experience with Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Zero Trust, and Cisco switches and routersHands-on experience with SolarWinds and Cisco Defense OrchestratorStrong analytical and problem solving skills PREFERRED SKILLS:Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP TERMS:This position is a direct hire with a salary up to $100K based on experience.
