Aftermarket Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Aftermarket Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to optimize the growth and profit by providing leadership and direction to sales personnel in their efforts to sell company products and services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Sales goals for maximum market penetration, provide guidance and training for sales personnel, as well as submit periodic progress reports to senior management.Set and implement standards, policies, and procedures for the Sales Department.In conjunction with the President, candidate will accept responsibility for the hiring and/or firing of reporting personnel, assess training needs of all individuals, and implement required training programsSet individual sales goals and hold sales personnel accountable in achieving goals.Develop sales strategies to support the company’s mission and goals.Prepare monthly sales reports on volume, new potential sales/business, and lost opportunities. As well as negotiating and closing contracts with sales personnel.Initiate and maintain direct personal contact with all primary accounts and key prospects.Review and control expenditures of Sales Department to meet budgetary requirements.Maintain communication with senior management and other departments involved.Knowledgeable with our CRM database program and enforce daily use by Sales Department team.Work alongside and assist other company departments when neededEstablish and enforce sales personnel dress code.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degreeExperience with Microsoft Office applications
