Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a CAD/BIM Drafter to join a consulting engineering team in the Towson, MD area. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience with building infrastructure design and engineering.
Responsibilities of the CAD/BIM Drafter include
Effectively use CAD programs to design technical drawings Draw blueprint drawings, floor plans, and mechanical drawings Design technical drawings of different interior spaces, including staircases, walls, doors, and railings Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to create drawings of buildings Understand federal, state, and local building codes.
Qualifications for the CAD/BIM Drafter include
Previous experience using CAD or BIM programs Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry Previous experience with drafting floor plans, blueprints, or mechanical drawings
Compensation for the CAD/BIM Drafter includes
Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 hourly, commensurate with experience Full Benefits: Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Cigna Vision, ADP 401k, Hybrid flexibility
