📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Piper Companies is seeking a Digital Product Owner (Automotive) to join one of the nation’s leading credit unions based in Mclean, VA. The Digital Product Owner (Automotive) will be responsible for the design of next-generation platforms, providing full-stack security architecture design, and influencing stakeholders to adopt best security standards. This position will be hybrid in Mclean, VA, 3 days per week!
Responsibilities of the Digital Product Owner (Automotive) include
Contribute to the vision and delivery of features in the Auto Lending product roadmap.Translate product strategy into product requirements, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Collaborate with stakeholders to capture feature requirements and points of view.Prioritize the product backlog to maximize value for PenFed and its members.Support technology teams in feature delivery, participate in team ceremonies, validate completed work, and enhance stories.Work with UX teams to create prototypes, user-interface mock-ups, product flows, and requirements.Provide product education to technical teams, partners, and experience-support teams.Proactively anticipate and address issues with digital capabilities and experiences through effective communication.
Qualifications for the Digital Product Owner (Automotive) include
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role with a track record of successfully shipping consumer-facing digital experiences.Experience in developing software and products for digitally savvy consumers, particularly in banking.Knowledge of digital banking trends, partner ecosystems, and competitive strategies.Ability to delve into tech trends, architectural questions, roadmaps, and influence development cycles.Experience with Automotive products preferredBachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Compensation for the Digital Product Owner (Automotive) includes
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Full benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Flexible work schedule
