📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Piper Companies is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD. The Electrical Engineer will develop electrical and special systems design drawings and specifications associated with power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage designs.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include
Create electrical and special system design drawings Effectively use AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs for projectsConduct calculations for power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage designsCollaborate with architects and other teams/departments
Qualifications for the Electrical Engineer include
3+ years of experiencePrevious experience using AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office programsKnowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industryExperience with low voltage systems (audiovisual, telecom, ethernet, etc.)Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering concentration from ABET accredited college or university
Compensation for the Electrical Engineer include
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 **depending on experience**Full Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k Perks: Hybrid work schedule, PTO
