Entry-Level Lab Tech

Piper Companies is actively recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to gain hands-on experience with ELISA testing, cell cultures, and other immunoassays. This is an ideal role for 2023 science graduates who are looking to get their first job in the industry with an incredible biotechnology research organization in the Baltimore, MD area.

Responsibilities for the Laboratory Technician include

Quality Control (QC) testing to support the organization’s products Performing ELISA assays, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing, cell cultures, and other laboratory tests Precisely pipetting small sample volumes with a pipetter Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assists in developing and implementing updated SOP guidelines Performs various statistical analyses, utilizing programs such as SPSS and SAS Updates and maintains records in the data system Performs routine laboratory maintenance

Qualifications for the Laboratory Technician include

0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience Bachelor’s of Science Degree (BS) in a related field is required

Compensation for the Laboratory Technician includes

Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 hourly, commensurate of experience Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
