Responsibilities Of The Lab Director
Take ownership and develop a strategic plan aligned with business goals. Manage finances, set goals, and execute strategies effectively. Utilize resources efficiently and ethically to achieve results. Maintain expertise in food science, demonstrate leadership, and set high standards of behavior. Foster an environment of coaching, development, and alignment with corporate objectives. Ensure compliance, exceptional customer experiences, industry involvement, and quality management.
Qualifications Of The Lab Director
Expertise in microbiology, chemistry, and food science Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or equivalent experience. Understanding of finance, budgeting, sales, and marketing for customer acquisition and retention. Proficiency in computer skills, including LIMS, for data management and document production. Analytical problem-solving skills to meet customer analysis needs. Strong oral and written communication, customer relations, and management abilities. Manages multiple lab managers overseeing supervisors supporting technicians and staff.
Compensation For The Lab Director
Pay Rate is commensurate with experience Direct Hire Comprehensive Benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO
