Collaborate with department leaders to implement laboratory system initiatives, ensuring proper training for effective execution. Communicate emerging client requirements to departmental personnel and work with auditors to ensure quality testing procedures. Maintain expertise in food science, LIMS, and related technologies while supporting corporate quality and continuous improvement processes. Manage talent development, perform final authorization release of lab data, review key performance indicators, and address issues proactively. Administer HR programs covering recruitment, retention, compensation, training, equal employment opportunity, performance appraisal, and employment record documentation.
Qualifications Of The Operations Manager
2-5 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree in related field. Broad knowledge of food science and LIMS for accurate analysis and discrepancy correction. Essential client relation skills for addressing inquiries and advising on processes. Proficiency in standard methods, coupled with supervisory experience, is crucial for overseeing lab activities. Budgeting, organizational, planning, and supervisory skills are necessary for efficient daily operation and financial management.
