Medical Director - Principal Investigator

Piper Companies is currently searching for a Medical Director - Principal Investigator in Salt Lake City, Nevada. In this role, the Medical Director - Principal Investigator will play a crucial role overseeing study trials to ensure safety standards are upheld when supporting cutting edge research and industry leading early-phase projects. This is a full time role that is on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah

Responsibilities for the Medical Director - Principal Investigator include

Evaluate and manage the safety of participants throughout the lifecycle of the clinical trialsMonitor participants and account for any adverse events and initiate proper actions if neededParticipate in protocol development, and study reportingSupervise the studies and ensure protocol adherenceComplete case report forms and present safety issues within meetingsMaintain knowledge of medical best practicesReview laboratory results, eligibility criteria, and safety parameters in accordance with study protocols

Qualifications for the Medical Director - Principal Investigator include

Medical degree (MD/DO or equivalent)Active Medical License in Utah or willingness to obtain Utah licensureExperience in clinical research, preferably in pharmaceutical or CRO settingsStrong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements

Compensation for the Medical Director - Principal Investigator include

Salary: $145,000-$180,000, depending on prior experience Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO
