Principal DevSecOps Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Principal DevSecOps Engineer to join a global Financial Technology organization. The Principal DevSecOps Engineer will lead the configuration and deployment of security infrastructure for the company.

Responsibilities of the Principal DevSecOps Engineer include

Create, develop, and implement solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements.Identify the needs for build automation, designing, and implementing CICD solutions.Create plug-and-play/reusable solutions and patterns for CICD pipelines.Create, develop, and implement automation and system integration for various build platforms.Publish and disseminate DevSecOps best practices, patterns, and solutions.Build or maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for app and development teams to enable quicker build and deployment.Troubleshoot, identify, and fix problems in the DevSecOps domain.Ensure incident tracking tools are updated in accordance with established norms and processes, gather all essential data, and document any discoveries and concerns.

Qualifications for the Principal DevSecOps Engineer include

10+ years of experience in engineering, with hands-on experience supporting DevSecOps to build and automate software development processes.Experience with ArgoCD, Crossplane, Solo.io, and MongoDBComprehensive technical expertise in a variety of DevSecOps toolkits, including Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, Terraform, Git/Version Control Software, or comparable technologies.Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards (SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP).Familiarity with Threat modeling, Static Analysis Tools, and Risk Assessment Techniques.Experience with a Cloud Provider like AWS, Azure, GCP

Compensation for the Principal DevSecOps Engineer include

Salary Range: $175,000 – $190,000 Full benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Cigna Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k
