📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Piper Companies is looking for a Proposal Manager to join an IT consulting company that does a lot of work with the government and department of defense. This is a full-time position and onsite three times a week in McLean, VA.
Essential Duties of the Proposal Manager
Manage all stages of the proposal development process from solicitation release through proposal submission in response to government sources sought notices and requests for information (RFIs), quotes (RFQs), and proposals (RFPs).Prepare kickoff materials, schedules, annotated outlines, compliance matrices, and other proposal related documents.Interface with technical writers and subject matter experts in coordinating/preparing the response documents
Qualifications of the Proposal Manager
5+ years of experience in federal proposal development, ideally in IT or software.Strong understanding of Federal Government contracting and industry proposal best practices.
Compensation for the Proposal Manager
$125,000 - $150,000 (based on experience)2 days remote per weekMedical, Dental, 401k matching, PTO, paid holidays
