Piper Companies is looking for a Regional Manager of Trust for a Trust Company for a Full Time position in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities for the Regional Manager of Trust
Responsible for managing a team of 10 - 15, including Trust Advisors, Trust Administrators and Trust Client Assistants ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and practices in the administration of Trust accountsUtilize their fiduciary/administrative expertise in addressing issues in the region's book of business, provide fiduciary training as needed, and are a resource to their colleaguesManage larger and more complex personal trust accounts in accordance with the terms of the various governing documents, applicable law, corporate and personal trust policies which are consistent with the needs of the principals, income beneficiaries, and remaindermen
Qualifications for the Regional Manager of Trust
At least 5 years staff management experienceAt least 10 years Fiduciary Administration experienceUnderstanding of various types of investments and strategies.Interpret and apply policies and identify and recommend changes as appropriate.Work with minimal oversight, make non-routine decisions, and bring complex problems to management for guidance.Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.Active involvement in related professional organizationsCFP (Certified Financial Planner) preferredCTFA (Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor) preferredBachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience.
