Software PMO Manager
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Piper Companies is seeking a PMO Manager - Software for an American manufacturing company that predominantly sells audio equipment. This is a full time and direct hire job. There would be a hybrid expectation of 3 days on site in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48302.
Responsibilities
Project planning, issues tracking, scope changes, risks, or interfaces/dependencies and project status reporting.Leadership of the PMO function and the team of Software Program Managers within an Automotive Software Department.Establish a clear vision for the PMO with a delivery roadmap including interim milestones and long-term measures of success / key performance indicators.Analyze data including portfolio budgets, risks, and resource allocation.Monitor and review work stream risk/dependency/action logs.Aid in financial planning and resource forecasting for regional programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required. Master’s degree is preferred.PMP or PRINCE2 Certification is strongly desired. (Additional certs or training in Agile and Scrum methodologies.)10+ years of software program management experience and demonstrated history of effectively overseeing numerous software programs.Requires a proficiency in project management skills, a history of project planning (including Work Breakdown Structure creation) and developing automated project planning templates, spanning the past 3-5 years specifically in the domain of large-scale automotive software development projects.Experience managing ideally a PMO function.Proficient in financial tracking and cost management.Experience in managing suppliers and third-party development partners.Experience with industry standards such as ASPICE and Agile methodologies.
Compensation / Benefits
Salary: $195,000 - $205,000Hybrid Schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days' work from home.Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Holidays, 401kBonus and Long Term Investment Plan
