Job Summary/Description
The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for:Invoice Processing:Receive and review invoices for accuracy and completeness; code (when applicable) and enter invoices into the accounting systemReview and ensure necessary approvals are obtained per company policyProcess incoming Accounts Payable Vouchers received from operations in a timely mannerPayment Processing:Prepare and process weekly checks runsVerify payments terms and ensure compliance with vendor agreementsVendor Management:Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendorsAddress and resolve vendor inquiries in a timely mannerConduct vendor statement reconciliations as neededExpense Report Processing:Review and process employee expense reportsEnsure compliance with company expense policiesMonth-End ReconciliationAssist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payableAssist in reviewing month end aging reports, reconciling to vendor statements, and resolving any discrepancies as neededProcess Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Collaborate with the finance team to implement initiatives where possible
