Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Estimator at Platinum Contracting of Nevada located in Henderson, NV. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for estimating the costs and timelines for various construction projects, analyzing blueprints, performing take-offs, preparing and submitting bid proposals, and conducting vendor and subcontractor negotiations. The Senior Estimator will also collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
QualificationsStrong analytical and mathematical skillsMinimum of 5 years experience in estimating costs for construction projects (preferred but not required)Experience in utilities and grading projectsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsProficiency in using estimating software and toolsKnowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulationsFamiliarity with vendor and subcontractor negotiationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team
