Senior Accountant

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, and audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. You will also install or advise on systems of recording costs or other financial and budgetary data.

Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesExamine, analyze, and interpret accounting records, documents, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and principles.Perform month close activities under USGAAP and IFRS.Perform timely balance sheet reconciliationsResponsible for maintaining and documenting of internal controls to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley in the assigned areas.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain effective financial and budgetary data recording systems.Provide advice and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes and procedures.Conduct internal and external audits to ensure that financial records are accurate and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to promote accurate and timely financial reporting.Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

EducationAssociate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
