📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Position Overview The Senior Manager, Program Manager (Enablement Manager) is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and success of one or more programs within the organization. They will work closely with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, project managers, other enablement managers, and portfolio management, to ensure that program goals are achieved within the agreed timeline, scope, and budget. Additionally, the Enablement Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing project management policies to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the program. As a key member of the team, the Enablement Manager is expected to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the business units while closely monitoring the program's timeline, budget, and scope. Essential Functions Define program goals and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic plan.Plan the program including scope, resources requirements, and high-level timeline for the program.Manage the expectations of all stakeholders involved in the program including communicating with project sponsors, executive leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency and to convey a shared understanding of the program goals and objectives and achievement of such.Manage project management resources required to deliver the program successfully including ensuring that the necessary resources, funding, and equipment are available when needed.Identify potential risks to the program and develop strategies to mitigate or avoid them including monitoring the progress of individual projects within the program and identifying potential issues that could impact the overall success of the program.Develop and maintain program and project management policies, procedures, and templates to ensure that all projects within the program are managed consistently and in accordance with established standards.Monitor and govern individual projects within the program and identify potential issues that could impact the overall success of the program and takes corrective action when needed.Ensure that the program is managed in accordance with established policies and procedures and defines governance structures, setting up regular reporting mechanisms, and evaluating that all projects within the program are being managed consistently and to a high standard of quality.Facilitate program governance and decision-making processes, including change control, issue resolution, and escalation procedures.Coordinate the activities of all projects within the program and ensure that individual project plans are aligned with the program, identifying dependencies between projects, and managing changes to the program plan as required.Review the performance of the program and evaluate it is aligned to established goals and objectives through regular program reviews, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and identifying areas for improvement.Promote the adoption of project management best practices and methodologies across the organization.Coach and mentor project managers within the program to help them develop their project management skills and deliver successful projects.Identify opportunities to improve program and project delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness, and develop and implement improvement plans.Maintains a program roadmap, illustrating the projects included in the program.Utilize Clarity PPM to manage programs, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risks including creating and updating project and program schedules, managing resource allocation, and tracking program status and progress through regular reporting and monitoring.Use Clarity PPM to make data-driven decisions about program priorities and resource allocation and ensure that all program information and data in Clarity is accurate, and up to date. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or a Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field, or a minimum of 8 years of equivalent work experience.· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).· This position requires progressive project management experience as follows:- 5+ years of experience in a project management role.- 2+ years of experience in a program management role.· 3+ years managing large/complex IT project implementations (delivered on-time, meeting client expectations/requirements with high team satisfaction).· 5+ years using Microsoft Project or similar project management software tool.· Experience with a PPM system such as Clarity (preferred) or other PPM tool. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities · In-depth knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies (such as waterfall, Scrum, KanBan, SAFe, Iterative, etc), and standards, such as the PMI PMBOK and SBOK.· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.· Experience in managing multiple programs or large-scale projects.· Proven ability to manage complex projects in a dynamic environment and under tight deadlines.· Experience in risk management and change management.· Experience in developing and managing program budgets and financial reports.· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Experience in leadership and management.· Experience with Resource Allocation and Management.· Sharp attention to detail, and the ability to investigate and solve problems.· Ability to work in a changing environment and can be flexible with change.· Strong interviewing and facilitation skills.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Must have the ability to deliver informative and well‐organized presentations and briefings to management.· Must possess sound judgment and decision-making abilities.· Project Management Experience in developing and tracking to a detailed project plan, including schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans.
