Environmental & Waste Water Treatment Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Environmental & Waste Water Treatment employees. This role will involve strategizing, project management, planning, directing and coordinating production activities, and using the proper implementation of various processes and systems. ResponsibilitiesExpected to follow all safety rules and policies and work in a manner that protects themselves and other stakeholders from hazards and injuries.Ensure all work procedures and practices are in accordance with established safety policies.Manage environmental programs for air quality, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, storm water pollution prevention and spill prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plan, EPCRA, CERCLA. TSCA and FIFRA.Prepare, submit, maintain documentation of compliance to environmental applications, authorizations, permits, reports and fee payments.Manage environmental recordkeeping requirements.Represent PMX to environmental regulatory agencies.Responsible for compliance with all quality efforts in waste water treatment through proper use of work instructions, processes and procedures.Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and support production efforts:Supervise workflow including schedules, paperwork, housekeeping and waste reduction.Responsible for establishing and maintain sound employee relations.Monitor discharge and disposal of waste products including chemical, air, liquid and solid.Perform chemical sampling and analysis of wastewater and cooling water.Control and adjust dosage of treatment chemicals.Operate and maintain equipment to control solid, liquid, air and chemical waste.Proactively ensure equipment remains functional.Provide guidance to ensure projects comply with environmental regulations.Perform regular internal audits to determine compliance status.Chemical handling including transferring as necessary.Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Chemistry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.General understanding of PCs and related software experience.Sound communication, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to plan work.Must be able to communicate in English for all business/job related transactions.
