Accounts Payable Analyst
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an organized and polished Accounts Payable Analyst to a financial services firm in Beverly Hills. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or equivalent accounting office support experience. Typical tasks will include processing incoming invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures and performing day to day tasks verifying, classifying, vouchering accounts payable and other accounting department data. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, a team player, and be able to interact in a multi-office, high volume, fast paced environment.
Responsibilities: Create and classify daily bank deposits to appropriate entities via electronic system or with bank representativeForward deposit support to accountingOpen distribute mailFile A/P vouchers and journal entries; set up and maintain filesRecord and file in-house chargebacksReview and code invoices and email out for approvalPull external audit requestsAssist with daily cash preparation, billing, and audit correct missing billing support.Process billing adjustmentsAssist with A/P month end closing tasksPhysically transfer previous year files to new locationAssist with 1099 issuances and researchCoordinate internal and external record retention processCoordinate year end file transfer processPrepare binder / files for new year
Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in an accounts payable rolePrior experience in private equity of financial services preferred, not requiredBachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent accounting office support experienceTeam player mentalityAble to work in a multi-office, high volume, fast-paced environment
Location: Fully onsite in Beverly Hills, CA.
Compensation: $90-95K DOE, bonus opportunities, excellent benefits & perks.
