What to Expect?
This role reports to the receiving supervisor. The person in this role is in charge of ensuring smooth processes when receiving deliveries and accounting for all freight. Forklift experience is preferred, but not required
On a Daily Basis Our Receiving Material Handler
Use of manual and/or motorized equipment to unload deliveries.Verify piece count and compare to freight bill.Notify Supervisor of any discrepancies.Sort and verify item count to packing slip.Apply Bar Code labels when needed and verify Bar Code accuracy.Perform daily housekeeping per department guidelines.Ability to work individually and in a team environment.Perform other duties as needed.
What You Will Need
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.Occasional stair climbing between offices.Use of peripheral vision to operate warehouse equipment.May be required to lift to 60 pounds.Noise level in the work environment is moderate to high in volume.
