```Duties```- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health and co-occurring diagnosis- Prescribe and manage medications for patients- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and families- Inform adolescent clients and families regarding medications and treatment expectations- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
```Requirements```- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with specialization in psychiatric-mental health- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)- Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting- Ability to work with diverse populations, including children and adolescents- Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalitiesNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
