Job Summary

Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world’s most powerful jet engines, is looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. This position is in Military Engines Customer Support Engineering for the F135 Engine that supports the F-35 aircraft. This position is within Pratt & Whitney’s military engine sustainment organization. The position will work with the F135 Source Data authoring team to manage creation of Source Data which updates F135 Joint Technical Data for Unit and Depot level maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Review Joint Technical Data change requestsPerform Technical data review, interpretation, and Source Data authoring functionsSupport for authoring of technical dispositions for jet engine hardwareDevelop proficiency and expertise in Customer Support Engineering (CSE) processesWork with Customer Support Engineers based at the various Depot sites to resolve technical data issues

Basic Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or related majors. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship. You are graduating between Fall 2024 – or later.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum GPA of 3.0Proficiency in MS Office applications. Ability to support operations in a fast paced, dynamic, and results based production environment. Strong Project Management, time management, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
