📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role: Automation EngineerLocation: Kalamazoo, MIDuration: Long Term***This is not a Software Automation - Please don't apply if you are a Software QA/Automation Engineer****Responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of critical automation components within equipment projects, which often involve programming PLCs, vision systems, and HMIs. Also responsible for designing electrical panels and configuring PLC programs for standard equipment. Leads and conducts intricate quality checks necessitating a deep understanding of machine control systems and operations.
Required experience includes proficiency in Delta V, Foxboro, Wonderware platforms, Rockwell (especially RSLogix5000, FactoryTalk View SE and ME, PanelView Plus, PlantPAX), and Siemens Simatic APT (preferably with knowledge of the legacy Siemens TI-505 PLC controller; Pfizer Automation is open to training candidates proficient in Rockwell PLCs).
