About Us:Premier Transportation is a growing transportation company based in Forest Park, GA. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure.
Job Description:As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the reliable operation, maintenance, and administration of our servers, networking, and computer systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT, be self-motivated, and possess the ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team. You will be expected to adapt quickly to a changing environment and implement creative, robust solutions to a wide variety of problems and projects. The position requires:Key Responsibilities:· Administer and test backup and replication using Veeam· Design, implement, and install server and networking solutions for company projects· Manage and maintain Active Directory and Office 365 environments· Ensure Windows/Linux computers/servers and necessary programs are up-to-date and patched· Administer Shoretel/Mitel phone system· Oversee and improve general network and systems security· Administer multiple Hyper-V servers and associated VMs· Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues· Create and run reports for user, permission, update, and other auditing purposes· Replace hardware, including computers, servers, and networking equipment· Troubleshoot failed backups and implement corrective measuresRequired Skills and Experience:· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field· 4-6 years of professional experience in IT systems administration· Strong understanding of networking concepts and hardware· Extensive experience with Windows and Linux Server management· Proven experience in Office 365 administration· Proficiency in PowerShell or other automation scripting languages· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills· Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Skills (Pluses):· Familiarity with SQL for migrations and troubleshooting· Security certifications or experience in a security-related field· Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, CCNA)· Experience administering Fortinet firewallsSchedule and Travel:· Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM· Part of an on-call rotation, 24/7· Occasional travel may be requiredCompensation and Benefits:· Annual salary range: $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience· Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 401(k)· Paid time off· Weekly pay
