Role Overview: We are seeking a versatile IT Support Specialist primarily focused on supporting end user activities and inventory management. This includes responding to queries from customers to correct desktop issues, granting access to various systems, providing training on using desktop applications, patch management, etc. This role also includes inventory management including shipping, preparation, and tracking of hardware assets. Troubleshooting of desktop systems and access issues as it occurs, and proactively working to increase the efficiency of existing systems.
Responsibilities:Support large number of calls and ticketsAnswer basic connectivity support issues for various platformsRemote support ability through RMM platformWorking understanding of multiple OS’s (Microsoft/Apple/Ubuntu variations)Excellent customer service skillsSuccessfully complete Projects as assigned that align with business strategiesProactively identify, escalate, help resolve IT issuesServes as POC for blue team escalationsCoordinate with vendors as needed to ensure products are delivered on timeSupport IT projects such as patching, system upgrades, hardware refreshing, inventory management, mitigations, hardware preparation, and installationsExperience with PowerShell Willingness to learn new processes and techniquesSupport company internetProvide basic training to staff as required on how to use various software and systems.Support provisioning of rolesAnd other duties as required
Qualifications:years desktop support preferredSchool diploma
Additional Requirements:end-users are remote so scripting and RMM skills are greatly preferredcoverage is onsite in Salmon, IDcertifications a plus
