Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Maintenance at Presidential Aviation, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL Executive Airport (KFXE). As the Director of Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance and repair on Part 91 and Part 135 operated aircraft. You will manage a team of technicians, maintenance controllers, and Chief Inspector and ensure that all maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors.

QualificationsSupervisory and Maintenance Management skills.Strong knowledge of aircraft Maintenance & Repair.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and the ability to work well with others.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Must possess and maintain a current and valid US-issued FAA A&P Certificate, IA preferred.Experience with Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, or Hawker aircraft is a plus.Computer skills a must.Have 3 years of experience within the past 6 years maintaining aircraft as a certificated mechanic, including experience in maintaining corporate jets; or Have 3 years of experience within the past 6 years repairing aircraft in a certificated airframe repair station, including 1 year in the capacity of approving aircraft for return to service.The ability to make critical decisions under pressure.Excellent organizational skills.Efficient communication skills.The ability to work under stress and resolve conflict.Sound organizational skills.The ability to motivate staff and lead a team.Speak and understand English.Associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience (A&P).Willingness to work sometimes irregular hours to get the job completed.
