Accounting Assistant - Taxes Focused - contract - Remote w/Chick-fil-A Corporate
Pay Range: $22/hr. - $25/hr. W2
Duration: 1 yr. from start
This Role has 20 hours a week and during the monthly compliance period will be busier and occur up to 40 hours a week. The monthly compliance period is (10th-20th roughly each month), Therefore with this role, the hours will vary.
This role is 100% Remotely.
This role will also primarily focus on the duties below
Adding the calendar lines for each new local registrationOperator transitions in OSU/FRSReviewing of the Daily Delivery AlertsUploading the tax returns to GalleryAudit of sending invoices to A/PChecking Spreadsheet/Date Entry to see if there are any Operators changes. Example: Address chance or store closures-Ensure the restaurants have EIN numbers and Business License.Support the Accountants with filling.Filling Returns-Entering into the state Portal and PaymentsBut No preparations-Confirming all filing/payment confirmations are in the I drive
A degree in finance or accounting is required, CPA preferred but not required.
We are seeking someone with a minimum 1 year of enterprise work experience as an accountant.
The selected candidate will also need excellent written and oral communication skills as this role will also be operator facing. Prior CFA experience not required. CFA will provide laptop.

This position is to assist with sales and use tax compliance. on the off weeks as well.
