📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Overview: The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager 1 to lead the recruitment and expansion efforts of the Texas Vaccine for Children (TVFC) program provider network. This position plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance immunization access statewide.
Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the TVFC provider network and increase immunization access statewide.Lead a team of Program Specialist IV Temporary Contractors, providing direction, training, and performance management.Maintain partnerships with DSHS Responsible Entities (REs), healthcare providers, and stakeholders to identify expansion opportunities.Analyze data and market trends to prioritize recruitment efforts effectively.Provide training, guidance, and technical assistance to team members and partners on recruitment best practices and program requirements.Support the Vaccine Operation Unit and Immunization Section with project-related tasks and deliverables.Represent the Vaccine Operation Unit in meetings, conferences, and forums with stakeholders and government agencies.
Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, including team management and strategic planning.Knowledge of public health, program planning, and healthcare technology.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to lead teams, interpret technical information, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
